The requirements for high precision, less processing time and complexity appearance become more and more important on CNC machining. Usually, the industry sets up additional rotating axis on traditional three-axis machine tool to meet the above trends. There are many advantages after add multi-axis rotation axis machine tools, but when includes rotation axis, it will have other contour error. It's very important to have high accuracy for the current industrial field. So, this research analyzes real machining contour error. When multi-axis machine tools use linear axis with rotation axis, the actual trajectory of the movement will not be a straight line and will produce the phenomenon of undercutting. The contour error depends on different configuration of the machine, the distance between of the workpiece location and the rotation center, and the step size of the rotation angle. The machine tool that we use in this research is configuration of the Table-Tilting type five-axis machine tools. We will analyze the contour error when linear axis and rotation axis moving at the same time.
