The inverter system includes battery charging and discharging, power factor correction, harmonic suppression and backup power. In grid-connection mode, the inverter will inject real power to the utility grid. In rectification mode, the inverter will charge battery. When utility grid fails, the inverter can transit seamlessly from grid-connection mode to inversion mode. The battery can deliver power through the inverter to supply the load continuously and regulate the voltage. Finally, the inverter has been built and tested, and simulated and experimental results have verified the proposed control scheme and feasibility of the system.
