碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 資訊管理學系暨研究所 === 101 === Personal Information Protection Act was formally introduced on October 1, 2012. In order to avoid violating the law, each university needs to formulate a plan to protect their personal information. This study aims to propose a methodology to assess and control the risk of personal information at the universities. Through the design of the procedure and the methods, we can identify risks and reduce those risks. To demonstrate the applicability, an example was also illustrated. From the example, sixty-seven risks related to personal information protection were identified. Means to assess and control those risks were also provided. Finally, the risk assessment and control system was developed to help the personal information protection work.
