The interactions and varieties between school visionary leadership and school management effectiveness were discussed. Using “Questionnaire of Visionary Leadership and Management Effectiveness in Elementary Schools,” quantitative survey was conducted in this research. The subjects sampled randomly include 765 educators from 72 elementary schools. There were 581 valid samples; the rate of valid samples is 76.9%. The results are analyzed by using the statistic methods, which include mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, chi-square test, Pearson’s product correlation, and multiple stepwise regression analysis. The conclusions of this study are synthesized as follow: I. Perception of elementary school educators are in average-to-high extent to the present situation of school visionary leadership. Among all, the sense to the “internalization of vision” is relatively highest, and the sense to the “formation of vision” is relatively the lowest. II. Perception of elementary school educators are in average-to-high extent to the present situation of school management effectiveness. Among all, the sense to the “instruction innovation and practice” is relatively highest, and the sense to the “school administration” is relatively the lowest. III. Educators serve in central Taiwan, as administrative staff, or serve in featured schools have higher perception on school visionary leadership; no significant differences between school sizes. IV. Educators serve in central Taiwan or serve as administrative staff have higher perception on school management effectiveness; no significant differences between school sizes or whether featured schools. V. There is significant positive relationship between visionary leadership and management effectiveness in elementary schools. VI. Visionary leadership has predictability on management effectiveness in elementary school, and the R square is 66.6%. Finally, according to these conclusions, suggestions are provided for education authorities, elementary schools, educators and further studies. Lin, Ming-Dih 林明地 2013 學位論文 ; thesis 216 zh-TW |
