The research data are collected through 523 effective questionnaires from the in-service education teachers in the elementary schools in Chiayi and Tainan area, and analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment. The conclusions are as followings: 1. The in-service education teachers have high learning satisfactions. What makes they get highest satisfactions is interacting with people, and the rest are learning effects, teacher’s teaching, teaching materials and learning environment. 2. It doesn’t make the different results of learning satisfactions even when they have the different backgrounds. So most of these teachers have high learning satisfactions. 3. The in-service education teachers have better teaching effectiveness. What makes they have best effectiveness is managing and administrating a class, and the rest are various skills and strategies for teaching, making good use of assessment of teaching, preparing and planning for teaching and the learning effects of students. 4. It does make the different results of teaching effectiveness when they have the different backgrounds. It shows that the ages of these teachers will affect their performances on teaching effectiveness. 5. The learning satisfactions of these teachers have highly positive connections to their teaching effectiveness. Some suggestions were proposed to educational administration institutions, elementary schools, and future researchers. ABSTRACT
