Mangoes are very vulnerable to pests and diseases during planting process that will directly affect the yield and quality of mangoes. So far, the pest control management in mangoes is not sound enough. Plant pests are often contagious, and if the control method is improper or incomplete, there is risk of massive infection. The existing plant pest control method prohibits the use of chemical pesticides that are highly toxic or with high residues, aiming to reduce the pests and diseases to manageable range by decreasing the use of pesticides. This method has its own effectiveness, but the current methods cannot have a real-time and full control of regional condition, control situation and possible future developments. However, the telemetry data can not only access multi-period, large area and multi-spectral information, it can also trace back over time and integrate spatial, temporal and spectral resolution to obtain surface data for spatial overlay analysis. According to the research findings, the spectral band of 600~640 nm was successfully identified as the health indicators for mangoes in the spectral analysis as well as the pigment analysis of healthy mango leaves and the blighted ones. However, due to the fact that the infection was in scattered and limited areas, and because of the limit restriction of the spatial resolution of satellite images, currently it is unable to establish the health indicators of mangoes with aerial and remote sensing images.
