Summary: | 碩士 === 真理大學 === 企業管理學系碩士班 === 101 === With more serious global warming and the environment problems, the environmental protection is already an important topic for all countries in the whole world. “Green Hotel” is the hotel generated by the concept of green consumption under the subject of environmental protection, which considers a premise of security and comfort, and concentrates on decreases of resource depletion and environment impact.
For green-mark systems promoted in Taiwan up to now, many related researches pointed out that the ineffective implementation and lack of purchase intention decrease the motivation of manufacturers in producing goods with green marks. Through the researches about the discussion of policy instruments in public policy theory, this study analyzes the policy implementation and effectiveness on green hotel.
Environment measures, valuation rules and related projects of green hotels need evaluate and practice cautiously. Therefore this study investigates the hotel industry's understanding toward the green-mark systems and the motivation and intention influencing hotel operators to accept green mark. In addition, this study investigates whether the green-mark systems can effectively arouse other hotels’ devotion to environmental protection and promote the consumer cognition of green hotels in travel choices in order to avoid green-mark systems alienating related industries.
Besides the researches about the discussion of policy instruments in public policy theory, this study interviews one green hotel’s operator to understand whether government departments aim the policy instruments at different objects.
This study analyzes and investigates the current policies of green hotels, the effective policies abroad, and the difficulty and obstacles encountered by policy objects. Some related suggestions and solution methods are proposed for future improvements in green-mark systems of green hotels.
