Environment Quality and Tourism Satisfaction may positively or negatively affect tourist's impression of a venue as a desirable tourism destination. In this thesis, we are examining, with a self-constructed questionnaire distributed to 400 visitors, the impacts of Environment Quality, Perceived Quality and Tourism Satisfaction on Revisiting intention of Alishan National Forest Recreation Area. The results indicate that environment and positively perceived quality significantly affect revisiting intension. Moreover, one of the findings of this survey is the importance of central and local government's improvement of the environment quality. Environment quality significantly affects perceived quality, which in turn significantly affects tourism satisfaction that has a positive relationship with revisiting intention. Furthermore, loyalty to the area is strongly and positively related with the intention to revisit the Alishan Recreation Area and to recommend it to friends and relatives. Tzung-Cheng (T.C.)
