It’s crucial to develop an effective tele-ICU model that can enhance medical quality of intensive cares for patients living in rural areas. The major objective of this study is to propose a new tele-ICU model for clinical cardiology. In this study, several challenges in developing tele-cardiology are discussed, including (1) the acquisition and delivery of vital signals; (2) the information security for patient privacy; and (3) the collaboration between on-site and remote-site medical and nursing members. In conclusion, this proposed tele-ICU model for cardiology can become a valuable reference on developing tele-CCU. Chao-ChangChiu 邱昭彰 學位論文 ; thesis 46 zh-TW
