Caregivers would turn to seek formal care system. Therefore, the care for the elderly has become the focus of government and civilian agencies or groups for the promotion of social welfare work. This study aims at understanding the process and care models and process that the elderly may choose, and exploring their influencing factors, and then it further constructs the ideal elderly care model. In this study, we adopt in-depth interviews in a qualitative research. The interview subjects contain the elderly who receive different care models, main caregivers, and experts and scholars. 18 persons were interviewed, in which two elderly persons were interviewed many times for making pre-and post comparisons. After having data collected, arranged and analyzed, this study has constructed the ideal elderly care model, and then according to the priority of the core elements, the ideal elderly care model would be divided into eight types; each type may link to the corresponding care system in the positive/negative development or balanced state. Finally, the study would put forth proposals to the government agencies in hopes that they can enlarge the scope of reproductive subsidies. In this way, women in career would be free from worries; establish a communication platform in community care in an effort to reach a balance between supply and demand; increase the living allowance of family caregivers and provide respite care services; the elderly institutions should actively transform to seek a new opportunity to develop; the elderly should try to do financial planning and establish a good interaction with their families, and do active social network before an ideal care model can be successfully achieved. 陳燕禎 學位論文 ; thesis 162 zh-TW
