The application is limited because the very narrow temperature range, usually less than a few Kelvin. This study is a novel way to effectively enhance the presence of temperature and range of blue phase. In the experiment, the achiral banana-shaped molecules is doped in chiral nematic liquid crystals observed in a wide temperature range blue phase, upgrade and blue phase temperature to 69.4 ° C; we also use the tri-functional monomer(TMPTA) and illumination polymerization to form the Polymer-Stabilized Liquid Crystal(PSLC),polymer network structure discussed by SEM images under different exposure temperature stable blue phase cube lattice arrangement.
