Description
Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 中國語文學系 === 100 === The object of this paper is to research the Sincerity Thought of the Great Learning Daxue in the Book of Rites Liji by means of KONG Yingda (574-648) and WANG Yangming’s (1472-1529) respective points of view. I will draw attention to Kong's Annotation to illustrate his way of viewing “Sincerity” and further discuss his opinions about the efforts of how to approach “Sincerity.” I then look into WANG’s “The Interpretation of The Great Learning” introducing his explanation about “Sincerity.” And lastly, an overall comparison between WANG and KONG’s ideas concerning the Sincerity Thought of the Great Learning in the Book of Rites will be made, so that those differences and the reasons behind them can be brought into clearer focus for a better understanding of their thinking.
