Due to such condition, the vendors must be more aggressive and more innovative to bring out more benefit for whole industry so that it can cause more competitiveness and expand the market share to comply with the unpredictable changes of industry in the future. By the case study of choosing the noted vendor in the server ODM industry, the research comes out the result of a system for the consolidation of component and vendor assessment for server design. Consulting with the standards for vendor assessment information of computer industries and the characteristics of connector commodity, the research comes out the standard of vendor assessment into five standards: 1. Quality, 2. Technical Skills, 3. Supply Capability, 4. Cost, 5. Business Dealing. According to these five standards, there are also twenty one features. Using AHP, it concludes the levels from standards and features to provide the reference of vendor assessment for server industry. After the rating analysis by the software of Expert choice, there is the result come out: Quality(0.302)、Cost(0.218)、Technical Skills(0.216)、Supply Capability(0.153)、Business Dealing(0.11). According to the analysis result, we can find out the Quality is the most important thing for vendor assessing in connector commodity of server industry. Due to the strict requirements of sever product, it requires component quality that have five years warranty.
