Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 技術及職業教育研究所碩士班 === 100 === The Minister of Education has been conducting program evaluation on the Practical Skill Training Programs at high schools in order to ensure the program quality for students’ learning achievement and employability in the future workplace. It is equivalently crucial to conduct the meta-analysis study on the processes and quality of these program evaluation policies and practices. This meta-analysis study purported to identify the effects and appropriateness of program evaluation processes and policies employing survey questionnaires on the 145 participants including evaluators and high school personnel. This self-developed questionnaire was consisted of 4 major domains: 1.The functions of Practical Skill Program; 2.The policy of program evaluation; 3.The effects of evaluation practice on Practical Skill Program quality; 4.The applications of program evaluation. Five evaluation experts were also interviewed for in-depth understanding on this issues and accurate interpretation on surveyed data. The following conclusions were finally drawn through a series of statistic and synthetic processes: 1. The program evaluators generally encouragingly recognized the functions and achievement of the Practical Skills Program for young students to prepare their job skills; 2. The evaluated high school personnel generally approved the evaluation index and contents with the leading functions; 3. The program evaluation policy and practices were both identified to be appropriate for this Program long-termed development; 4. The participants preferred the accreditation result than ranking one, even though its encouraging effects, for high schools to develop their own professional characters. This paper finally proposed several concrete suggestions for high schools to ensure the development and improve the quality of Practical Skill Program. The suggestions mainly addressed the domains of administrative strategies, and program evaluation contents.
