It purposes a Culture Design Dynamics model which is based on Hypercube chain architecture it includes Creative Space and Viscosity Filter. This interpretive model demonstrates with a creative pattern design and a special C3CAD (Chinese Character Composer Computer Aided Design) is designed for abstracting the elements from Heritage Sort and then reusing them to reconstruct new patterns. There is an interactively recursive refinement between art works design and C3CAD which is a shape grammar oriented pattern composing CAD system it is used in concept design and prototyping stages. Both model and C3CAD are contributions of this research. Chinese characters are living fossil and foundation of Han culture. A C3CAD platform is built to introduce the engineering method it deconstructs and reconstructs Chinese characters component systematically. C3CAD have been implemented four versions, each for different design requirements from concept proving to finale decorating. Unicode 6.0 Han database is selected, there are 78202 characters deconstructed into 800 basic components those can reconstruct almost unlimited patterns with grammar. Culture Design Dynamics is an epistemology and C3CAD is a platform implement for heritage reutilization, this study demonstrates an approach how to integrate design and technology for activating ancient characters elements and reuses them in culture design process practically.
