Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 電機工程系碩士班 === 100 === A novel bridgeless isolated SEPIC power factor correction circuit is proposed in this thesis. This topology is not only suitable for the application of single-stage AC-DC output, but also suitable for the application of the output voltage being greater or less than the input voltage. The proposed circuit used the back-to-back switches to establish the bidirectional switching in the primary side. In the secondary side, the two sets of windings of the transformer are both in series connection with the P-type MOSFET respectively to ground, so that the proposed topology can be operated in the boost mode or buck mode. The number of components is effectively decreased in the proposed topology to reduce the conduction losses and improve the overall system performance.
Simulations and experimental results are used to verify that the proposed converter can achieve the stable operation, good power factor correction and function of boost or buck. Therefore, the proposed converter can own the advantages of high efficiency and high power density.
