This study also compare the CEO turnover between first and second generations. Controlling industry and time fixed effects, the empirical results show that operating performance, general manager for the family members and family business dominance have significantly negative impact on CEO change. Debt ratio, independent director ratio have significantly positive impact on CEO change. Profession manager are more likely to leave when company have good performance.
