碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 創意生活設計系碩士班 === 100 === This study is to investigate illustrations created by Yen-Liang Lin, and aims to provide in-depth analysis of the series of works :"Little Ball, Banana’s Tour－Dreaming, Travelling, and Market Visiting". The author’s personal experiences with the cultural industry of Fashion Markets led to his interest in creating illustrations. The author chose the most relevant aspects of his life to conduct his illustration creation. Therefore, the “Dreaming” series for the dreamland convey the pressures accumulated through daily life, in addition to the “Travelling” series represent personal hobbies, and finally the “Fashion Market” series portray how he starts his illustration creation . This study starts with theories analysis,case studies art history styles, contemporary culture, and related psychological theories. Investigating how related artistic styles inspire the author’s creative ideas, form, and content formulates the basis of creation; while the author pays attention to the phenomenon of current consuming culture, realizes diverse functions for illustrations and its growing range of markets, thus find even more value to investigate research creation related to illustrations. Moreover, integrating psychology and visual perception theories enhance the quality of my own creations. Finally, artistic production and illustrations creation are used to explain personal creative ideology, use external form of framework to analyze work’s inner spirit, will also critique and explain the differences, creative connotations, forms, and use of media for the “Dreaming”, “Travelling”, and “Fashion Market” series subjects. This study will serve as a reference for future illustration related researches, and a cornerstone for inspection of personal creative connotation and preparation of future creative direction.
