Summary: | 碩士 === 國立陽明大學 === 臨床暨社區護理研究所 === 100 === The purpose of this study was to understand the capacity of community organizations and its correlated factors. This study used cross-sectional research design to survey 200 leaders, chief persons, and chairmans of community organizations who participated in community health development projects. Community organization in this study included Community Development Associations and Community Health Promotion Assiciations in I-land County. There were 200 subjects.Study instruments included organization competency and partnership scales.The former one was to evaluate organization competency when they perform health promoting activities and the second one was to evaluate the partnership among members in the organization that include the following domains: "trust", "communication", "commitment", and "conflict".
The results of this study showed: (1)The members of community organizations partnership of four domains was "trust" getting highest average score.(2)The capacity of community organizations of six factors were "organizational leadership" and " cooperation" resulted in the highest score.(3)There was a significant positive correlation between the members of community organizations in partnership and the capacity of community organizations.(4)The significant predictors of capacity of community organizations were "trust", "commitment", "communication"among community partnership , which explained variance value of 53.9%. Based on the findings, recommendations were as follows: 1. To provide the opportunities of promoting the interaction between members of community organizations in order to enhance their understanding and building the concensus and trust among them; 2. To develop core leaders’ capabilities in communication and cooperation with other members and to promote support networks to influence other members’ involvement into the organizations. 3. To initiate activities and domenstraction among community organizations in order to promote the partnership among them to help members in the organization to learn and grow and eventually to commit the oganizaation.
