Each nation also alert to the Real-Time Outbreak and Disease Surveillance (RODS) is very important. Therefore, many countries tried to use various methods to find more accurate prediction and analysis of the characteristics of the disease in Spatial-Temporal. The aim of this study is to identify the Spatial-Temporal cluster of dengue fever in Taiwan using Spatial-Temporal scan statistic and dengue fever epidemic reporting information from the Taiwan CDC from 1988 to 2011. The results also compared with the one using spatial and temporal scan statistic. To identify the spread of dengue fever with the characteristics of Spatial-Temporal statistical method is also the goal of this study. It can also give the suggestion of applying the suitable cluster. An environmental assessment and relational research for the highlight outbreak area are also investigated. In the future, the research can offer the prevention and control of dengue fever in Taiwan. Taiwan CDC is promoting to use analysis in infectious diseases.
