Moreover, the relationships between mechanical properties and morphologies for the PC/ABS blends blens are shown in this study. The characterist of process inhere are evaluated by milting index(MI), indicating that the molecular weight is factor on the differences in MI value between PC and ABS. According the results on the physical characteristics, DSC and DMA, the PC/ABS blends present two-phase structure, that is, the blends is immiscibility. However, the belends are be able to reach a compatibility state by external mechanical forces. The composition of PC/ABS blends affect the morphology and mechanical properties; as the PC in the blends is martix, the blends have a good compatibility, and showed a tensile strength higher than the original PC. Contrary, the blends have lower tensile strength then the original ABS as the ABS is martix. These results are affected by the types of morphology and mixed compositions. Furthermore, the breaking strength and elongation for the PC/ABS blends is increased with the increase of PC content; however, the morphology of PC/ABS blends on the impact strength has higher effect than the breaking strength and flexural strength.
