Summary: | 碩士 === 台南應用科技大學 === 商學與管理研究所 === 100 === The processes in the organizations operate mainly to actively promote governmental administration, whereas for enterprises, employee attendance management operates as necessary means to strengthen working discipline, maintain office order and normalize routine operation in the office. However, upon the implementation of the system, it must also take into account that the system do operate smoothly and employee dignity is duly treated, in order to avoid over-rigid or over-easing management. Thus, it is an imminent issue for the organizations to build a set of employee attendance management system which is consistent to being both convenient and fair.
This study focuses on the implementation of the electronic forms system for the Taiwan Sugar Corporation that uses as its employee attendance management posits, theory of the “Technology Acceptance” and “Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology, UTAUT” as fundamental framework, to explore how dimensions of Prospect Performance, Effort Expectancy, and Social Influence" etc., can affect Behavior Intention and significant influence under adjustment of background variables. However, there is only a brief description about software and hardware environment under technical background corresponding to employee attendance management system.
In this study, issued a total of 390 questionnaires, and actually returned a total of 368 valid questionnaires. It also adopted Personal Interview to modify questionnaire items fitness for improving the expert validity. On the other hand, in this study adopted questionnaires method of quantitative research to collect a sufficient number of samples, analyzed data by using SPSS and AMOS software, and used confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and path analysis (Path Analysis) in the structural equation modeling (SEM) for verification of fitness of overall model, in order to analyze the results of the corollary assumption and finally, to propose research conclusion and suggestions.
The verification results show that employees who use electronic forms system have significantly positive influence over Performance Expectancy to Behavioral Intention, as well as Favorable Conditions and Behavioral Intention to Using Behavior, which are in consistent with the research assumptions. Whereas, it show Effort Expectancy, and Social Influence to Behavioral Intention are inconsistent with the research assumptions. In the analysis of adjustment variables found that the gender, age, and experience of the employees do play as significant regulatory roles and affect the certain paths in the pattern.
In the management implication, the management level must positively promote the benefits of implementing the electronic forms system, enhance the quality and quantity about employee education and training, and provide a complete and clear environment of user-friendly interface. Unit heads must also concern about the status that employees who use the system, make employees well understand benefits the system can actually bring with, thus promote the employees’ use behavior.
