Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立體育學院 === 運動器材研究所 === 100 === Purpose: To compare the difference of movement characteristics, muscle activation and exercise intensity among the training hoops Donuts (DN), MOKA (MK) and Hula Hoop (HL). Methods: Eighteen healthy females randomly used three kinds of training hoops, respectively. Motion Analysis System, AMTI forceplate, Noraxon Wireless surface electromyography, Cardiosport GT5 heart rate monitor and Borg rating of perceived exertion (RPE) scale were used to measure all dependent variables. Results: HL had significantly greater than DN and MK in pelvis moving range, hip rang of movement and center of pressure (p < .05). DN had significantly greater movement frequency than MK and HL (p < .05). HL had significantly greater rmsEMG than DN and MK in external oblique and external oblique muscles, and greater rmsEMG than MK in gluteus medius muscle (p < .05). However, DN had significantly greater median frequency than HL in spinal erectors and external oblique muscles (p < .05). MK also had significantly greater median frequency than HL in spinal erectors and rectus femoris muscles (p < .05). HL had significantly greater heart rate reservation than DN and MK, and MK superior to DN (p < .05). Conclusion: the novel training hoop (Donuts) induced higher movement frequency and much muscles activation of abdomen and back muscles, even though has lower exercise intensity. HL has greater movement, muscle activation abdomen and back.
