She was introduced to the art world at the age of ninety-three due to my curiosity on naive art. Her hands that experienced hard working selling thin noodles thick soup, doing housework, and sewing clothes; now, are able to sketch, embroider and knead clay. This research includes the related research values on naive art, society art education, lifelong learning and so on. The goals of the research are as follows: (1) chronicle and analyze the course of an elderly person as she experiences each form of art in a research diary, (2) compare any physical and emotional changes of seniors before and after learning the naive creative art, (3) explore the feasibility and related proposals of combining naive art and seniors’ lifelong learning. After gathering materials from literature review, interviews, art exhibitions, and the research diary, I organize, induce and analyze the data. The following are my conclusions: (1) In the case, the role of an elder creator and guide in artwork complement one another. From doubting to trying, finding out strategies to resolve difficulties, overcoming challenges and eventually displaying the completed art; Che Lin Chin-Yu's journey illuminates the value of society art education. (2) Learning to create different types of art stimulates Che Lin Chin-Yu’s mental and physical development and gives her physical and emotional satisfaction. It also let her establish a richer lifestyle and promotes relationships with friends and family. (3) Seniors’ naive art creation activity can be paired with lifelong learning, which let the elders try to draw, knead clay, embroider and do other related art creations. It creates life memories as well as memories that sharing with the family. Compared with learning languages or mastering a skill, this activity possesses a better underlying value of life education and reviving the mind. Su Jen-Ming 蘇振明 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 152 zh-TW
