The article aims to discuss U.S ideology and its diplomacy in the aftermath of Cold War on the ideologies of the Republicans and the Democrats. The article consists of six chapters. Chapter one is the introduction including study motives, purposes, approaches, methods, limitations, scopes and literature reviews. Chapter Two is the development and transition of U.S ideology. From Chapter Three to Chapter Five, George W.H. Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush’s ideologies and diplomacy are discussed. Chapter Six is the conclusion, The article mainly discusses the ideological impact on U.S. diplomacy, the Republican and Democratic thoughts, and U.S. diplomacy in the Post Cold War Era. There are three major findings in the article. First, U.S. politics is based on a binary opposition mode. Second, its domestic ideology and foreign behavior are deeply related.
