Facing with high level of environmental uncertainty and intense competition, high-tech firms make efforts to engage in product innovation. Most firms conduct project management forthe efficiency of new product development. The main purpose of this study is to realize how to improve the performance of new product development. This study employs quantitative research method to examine the relationships between dynamic capability, technological innovation, new product development performance and the moderating effects of environmental uncertainty and project characteristic on the relationships between technological innovation and new product development. The 154 usable samples were retrieved and used for descriptive analysis, reliability analysis, construct validity and regression analysis. The empirical results are as following: 1. Corporate dynamic capability is positively associated with technological innovation. 2. Technological innovation is positively associated with new product development performance. 3. Corporate dynamic capability is positively associated with new product development performance. 4. Technological innovation has complete mediating effect on the relationship between dynamic capability and new product development performance. 5. Environmental uncertainty has moderating effect on the relationship between technological innovation and new product development performance. 6. Project characteristic has moderating effect on the relationship between technological innovation and new product development performance.
