碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 服務與科技管理研究所 === 100 === This paper studied the InterDigital, one of the Non-Practicing Entity companies. The object of this study was to collect US granted and application patents of InterDigital and then analyzed the patent portfolio. Finally, use social network analysis to discuss the internal patent. Originally, social network analysis was the systematic approach for identification message or communication structure. The social network analysis could apply to analyse patent. Each patent represented a node, and the link between patents could be explained through citation relationship. Generate patent map and combine with technology network diagram could see inside intelligence of InterDigital. These management tools could achieve more in-depth intelligence. This study results showed that InterDigital''s main development was concentrated on CDMA and derived a lot of related technologies.
