The performance of the product design team has shown is often the key to the ability of the business to win it. Enterprise use performance evaluation model for effective design performance to enhance the control of the design process of new product development has become a critical success factor. Under the pressure of rapidly changing technology and customer needs, companies need a shorter time, less cost to design new products and more quality, must also meet customer needs and satisfaction, in order to increase market share for enterprise makes more profits. Therefore highlights the importance of how to improve the design performance of new product development. According to the literature survey results found, to explore the design performance; it must be divided into "design issues", "development issues", "Product focus" and "Process focus" the four quadrants to be assessed. Mentioned in the literature, to a more complete exploration of the design performance, you must also add learning and capability development in the fifth quadrant into measurable criteria. In this study, based on its theoretical framework, the use of case study method to explore the design process when the case company in new product development project. Through expert depth interviews to understand the design companies and brand companies to both design performance dimensions important part of their differences, and finally for each quadrant a few suggestions. The results showed that the design company and brand companies both in each quadrant with the highest score in the section compared with no significant difference, showing the design industry attention goal is the same; The two lowest scores are slightly different, because the case between corporate strategy and goal-oriented all different, all items are not the same demand. Therefore, this analysis of the results has a certain degree of reference value to the design industry; it as can also be referenced to the design performance evaluation of new product development constructed.
