Information is then no longer limited to be described on paper, so it can be presented in three dimensions with variety methods. Nowadays, Augmented Reality has been applied in the products demonstration. For example, in the furniture catalog, the viewer will be able to see the vivid furniture. In terms of presentation in this way, the traditional 2D methods are substituted and viewers'' difficulty of imagination can be reduced as well. Therefore, Augmented Reality has the advantage of realistic scenes and requiring less imagination. However, nowadays Augmented Reality is only developed to display text, image and animation on the screen. In this article, a new Augmented Reality system is presented, which is different from others. The concept of “Component Marker” and “Assembly tool Marker” is presented in this study. The “Component Marker” can be used to view virtual objects, and the “Assembly tool Marker” allows users to manipulate virtual objects. A controllable and visible Augmented Reality environment can be established by using these two markers. And this concept can be developed to an “augmented reality assembly instruction system”. This study introduced the Augmented Reality technology into product assembly instructions and assembly lines. It converted the communication method from text and graphics mode to dynamic 3D mode, bringing users a new visual representation in the process of learning assembly, and allowing users to understand the appearance of the product more easily. Which makes it safe and easy to assemble the product. Ming-Chih Huang 黃銘智 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 52 zh-TW |
