Thus, reducing the channel zapping time is one of the major concerns of IPTV network deployment. In this thesis, we propose a method of channel interleaved reordering based on users’ interest (CIRI) to solve the problem of zapping time. By combining channel reordering and preload policy, the channel seek time of zapping time can be reduced significantly.
