Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 能源與冷凍空調工程系碩士班 === 100 === In recent years, due to the changes of environments and climates, and the crisis of global warming, the average temperature in summer is rising every year. Therefore, air conditioners become necessary in summer, which are required both in indoor activities and work demands. Moreover, the reason why people use air conditioner is hoping to improve the thermal comfort of room, so as to promote people''s work efficiency, moods and action motives. With the rapid development of information technology, this paper proposes transmitting and collecting the data of temperatures and relative humidity (RH) of indoor and outdoors by wireless sensor networks, so as to monitor the indoor and outdoor environments. In accordance with code of ASHRAE Standard, the most suitable environment for humans is the one with a thermal comfort index PMV between -0.5~0.5. From the experimental results, it can be learnd that the successfully integrated communications protocol of Modbus-RTU in this paper adopts the wireless sensor networks, IPC controller and IR learning remote module to control the setting temperature and air speed of indoor unit of variable volume system. In this way, the indoor temperature and humidity can be adjusted with the cold air sent, which successfully maintains the comfort degree of indoor around 0.5.
