Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 技術及職業教育研究所 === 100 === The purposes of this study were to investigate the relation between the perception and willingness of teachers being part-time administrators in public senior vocational high schools in Taipei city, and to explore the influences caused by different demographic factors on such perception and willingness. The research study employed questionnaires to survey. Subjects were teachers in public senior vocational high schools in Taipei City in the school year of 2012. 300 copies of questionnaires were sent and 253 valid copies were collected, with an effective response rate of 84.3%. Descriptive statistics, one sampled t-test, independent sampled t-test, one-way ANOVA as well as Pearson product-moment correlation were conducted to analyze the data.
The conclusions were as follows:
1. The perception of public senior vocational high school teachers serving as part-time administrators is high.
2. The willingness of public senior vocational high school teachers serving as part-time administrators is not high
3. Demographic factors, such as marital status, school administration experiences, and years of administration experience, caused significant differences on the perception of teachers being part-time administrators in public senior vocational high schools in Taipei city.
4. Demographic factors, such as gender, teaching subjects, school administration experiences, and years of administration experience, caused significant differences on the willingness of teachers being part-time administrators in public senior vocational high schools in Taipei city.
5. There was positive correlation on a general scale between the perception and willingness of teachers being part-time administrators in public senior vocational high schools in Taipei city.
Based on the results of this study, suggestions for the educational administration, schools, teachers, and future studies were proposed.
