Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 機電整合研究所 === 100 === This research aims to develop electrical non-fiberoptic endoscope (ENFE). It is low-cost and disposable. The complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) camera and light-emitting diode (LED) were used for ENFE in this research. The size of ENFE was based on the results of chest size measurement. The practical effects of ENFE were proved through the illumination, temperature and animal experiment. The endoscope has been developed for over 100 years. The video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) replaced the role of open thoracic surgery gradually. The rigid rod lens is usually used in VATS. There are about 3 traumas after the surgery. However, the endoscope is reused after decontamination. The risks of infection still exist. There were 5 ENFEs developed in this research. The results of illumination showed that the maximum illumination of ENFE was 1576 lux. According to the guidance of FDA, the ENFE 3 had best results (45.3℃) in temperature experiment. The traumas after surgery were reduced to 2 from 3 in the animal experiment. The images were transferred to computer successfully and the resolution was 640x480. The feasibility was proved in this research. Additionally, the disposable ENFE can avoid the risk of contamination. The ENFE has great potential to develop.
