Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 光電工程系研究所 === 100 === This thesis research is to experimentally investigate the hemispherical optical field and the planar illuminant distributions of the special lighting source consisted of three white organic light-emitting diodes (3-WOLED) with 10x10mm2 light-emitting area each. The optical field and the planar illuminant distributions of the 3-WOLED are expected to be adjustable by varying their relative angles among these WOLED to satisfy various lighting applications. The optical field and the planar illuminant distributions of the lighting source composed of three planar sources converted from single white LED (3-WLED) were also measured and analyzed for comparison purpose. Our experimental results show that the hemispherical optical field distributions of the 3-WOLED and 3-WLED with specific relative angles exhibit minimum intensity in normal direction and maximum intensities away from normal directions. These distinctive distribution profiles are similar to the so-called "bat-wing" distributions specified by general lighting applications.
