碩士 === 亞洲大學 === 經營管理學系碩士班 === 100 === Supply chain management, or the management of goods, information and funds between organizations from raw material to end customer, plays a much big role in companies today and need to be altered and adapted too. Literature describes several developments in supply chain context. Flexibility is considered to be an important differentiator in the current market place. Supply chain flexibility is widely seen as one major response to increasing competition. Several papers already emphasized the need for flexibility although little attention is paid to how operational activities incorporate flexibility in their supply chain practices. This research has been done to explore the relationship between the dimensions of supply chain characteristics – supply chain flexibility and supply chain flexibility – business performance in coffee manufacturing companies. It helps enterprises to increase their competitive advantage by analyzing these aspects. The research has expected to find a positive relation between a superior performance in flexibility capabilities and business performance, although flexibility dimensions are not equally important to business performance.
