Also, it does some critical comments on the correction of the translation. And, it makes a clear explanation on the contents for non-Christian readers. The original book was written by Nemesio Garcia in 1998 and was translated by Ricky Yeh. The whole book reveals how the author fought with disease through his life of the last 10 years. Although the ten times of fighting with his cardiac disease, he lived with happiness and joy by his faith. This commentary consists of four parts: Part one introduces the author’s motivation of writing the book, its influence on different fields and the purposes of the study.
Part two discusses some controversial words in translation such as the family names, and the difference between the religious words and secular words. Part three is the methodology. There are five methods being analyzed in this commentary which are adding words with explanation, deduction, sentences reordering, the synonymous translation with an opposite method and using idioms. Part four is the conclusion of this commentary.
