Description
Summary:碩士 === 慈濟大學 === 醫學資訊學系碩士班 === 100 === Automatic exercise measurement can effectively increase physical activity among college students. Based on the timing systems used in marathon races, the eHealth system of Tzu-Chi University is implemented to realize the measurement. However, the high cost is an obstacle for other schools to adopt the eHealth system. With the advancement of embedded system technology, re-implementing the systems with the technology provides a graceful way of reducing the cost. After some deliberation and comparison, ARM7 microcontroller and uClinux were adopted as the processor and operating of the new system. Given a new hardware design, modifying the bootloader and recompiling the operating system kernel are required and were completed after the design. A new multithreaded exercise measurement algorithm was then developed to carry out the exercise measurement function. To ensure the function of the system, the correctness of the algorithm was verified and the performance of the algorithm was measured. The results prove the system’s correctness of the function and the fulfillment of performance requirement in application of exercise measurement.
