Description
Summary:碩士 === 南台科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 100 === Using electromagnetic simulator HFSS and print-screening technique, a novel miniature CPW-fed monopole implantable antenna is developed and designed on the high relative dielectric constant (εr=9.8) and high quality factor (Qf>300,000) Aluminum Oxide (Al2O3) substrate for the applications of Medical Implant Communication System (402-405 MHz). For analyzing and measuring the proposed implantable antenna immerse into the skin of human body, a tissue with complex dielectric constant (εr=46+32j) was also produced by the uses of alcohol, water, and salt. Besides, the Specific Absorption Rate values and characteristics of the proposed antenna were also investigated in this study. Finally, the measured operating frequency is located at 414 MHz, the return loss is 49 dB and the bandwidth is up to 194 MHz (46.9%). Moreover, at 1 meter away from the proposed implantable antenna, -40 dBm signal intensity can be obtained easily as the input power is 2 mW. The dimension of the antenna is only 16×16×0.635 mm3, which is suitable for bio-applications.
