In order to enhance the ideality of the product, the concept of ideality defined in the TRIZ theory with the integration of Independence Axiom and Information Axiom of Axiomatic Design as well as Kano model theory are used to construct “Ideality Evaluation Mechanism”, which includes four aspects: Effective Function, Independence, Derivative Contradiction, and Cost, aiming to evaluate the quality of product improvement. This research focuses on the assessment aspects in “Ideality Evaluation Mechanism” to have an in-depth discussion. According to the evaluation mechanism and workflow, a revised model is proposed to strengthen those factors related to the customers’ demands in the design and highlight the impact caused by Derivative Contradiction. This research re-verifies the rationality of the evaluation model through case analyses and comparisons, so that the overall quality of resolving problems within the product can be promoted and optimized.
