| Summary: | 碩士 === 世新大學 === 圖文傳播暨數位出版學研究所(含碩專班) === 100 === With increasing emphasis on children's education in our country, publishing industry of children's picture books is also developing and booming; therefore, it is important for companies to hire professional art editors. Art editors play an important role to enhance the quality of the books; however, there is nothing to refer to, in terms of professionalism and qualifications, when an opening for art editor becomes available. Consequently, the professional qualifications for children's picture book art editor are the main motivation for this study. The objectives of this study are: 1. To study which abilities of professional qualifications are importance. 2.T o study professional qualifications of children's picture book art editors. 3. To develop professional qualifications, which children's picture book industry requires of art editors in Taiwan. . After literature review for research objectives, Analytic Network Process is used for this study, and the final conclusions are:
1. Among all the qualifications, personalities are more important than professional qualifications, and basic qualifications are the least important.
2. Among all the basic qualifications, communication skill and problem-solving abilities are more important than others.
3. Among all the professional qualifications, the abilities to edit, design, and using computer graphics software are more important than others.
4. Among personalities, responsibility, enthusiasm, and ambition are more important than others.
