IT outsourcing requires cooperation contract providers information project staff and contract providers, The level of trust depends on the personality of people. Outsourcing is a contract commissioned by the case and handed over to the contractor responsible for the need to rely on the cooperation of both sides to complete the goal of consistency and co-operation established basis points is that the two sides level of trustThe study discusses the influence of level of trust on the success of IT sourcing through personality trait by setting the level of trust as intervening variable. The ability and cooperation patterns of IT personnel are also treated as intervening variables to discuss whether if the personality traits of IT personnel on the contractors, ability of outsourcing suppliers and cooperation, would affect the level of trust between both parties and thereby affect outsourcing effectiveness.
The study has been conducted on the IT departments of the average corporate organizations or personnel of system integration suppliers in Taiwan through questionnaire design and issuance in accordance with the research assumptions. The survey results were applied with statistics methods such as Chi-square test and regression analysis for verification. The study intends to provide research results as reference for contractors in order to effectively achieve expected outsourcing objectives. The study results summarized as follows:
1. The personality trait is influential on the level of trust, extroversion, openness, agreeableness and conscientiousness have a significant positive impact on the level of trust.
2. IT staff have the ability a significant effect on the level of trust and increase. IT personnel have the ability to contribute to the growth of IT outsourcing level of trust.
3. Personality traits, the impact of the level of trust, will not affect the degree of change because of the different modes of cooperation.
4. The level of trust on the effectiveness of IT Outsourcing significantly affect, the two sides the level of trust to improve, contribute to the effectiveness of the IT outsourcing.
