Music is regarded as one of the Soft Power which with the most competitive advantage in the global market. “Borderless Music”, Taiwan play an important role in the development of Chinese Pop music market. From different point of view, the process and method of compilation music become the important issues, therefore, tin-pan alley can figure out significant indicators to produce innovate works. The data bases of this research are the 1981 to 2010 Rock Records albums, and will apply boom lights, charts explaining and regression analysis to explore the correlation of music style, calendar effect, golden years, and economic cycle. Moreover, this study desires for making contribution to Taiwanese musicians and culture industry development. The research result shows that the soft music songs were most published from 1994 to 2003 in the Rock Records albums. Secondly, memorial and specific styles songs were published during the third and last quarter in a year, in other words, they were published in summer time, Christmas and New Year holidays. Furthermore, according to the data, the worst sales volumes in a year were in March. Interestingly, if records were published on Friday, not only they may have weekend effect but also can stimulate their sales volumes, and the producers and singers tended to be male mostly. Considering the economic figures which including CPI, Leading indicator, Stock Index, Industrial Production and Custom Export, this study applied regression analysis to analyze their correlation; consequently, the result shows they have significantly effects with the Rock Records albums publish volumes.
