Taiwan's current administrative division of the substantially completed in 1950, but nearly 60 years, Taiwan's rapid economic and social progress, the overall traffic and industrial construction also come a long way, so the local living area has generated significant dynamic change; Therefore, the drastic change in our country economic and social development situation, the existing administrative divisions have been inconsistent with the needs of local development. Especially in the era of globalization trends, urban competition, regional integration for the global trend, China has required cities and counties to be upgraded or integration of the voice.
That is, the research purpose of this article is to explore the current administrative divisions governance strategy by the five administrative divisions of the discourse, to understand the relationship between zoning and the political and economic development, try to find out behind the deletion of the existing administrative divisions, and in this retrospective change the course of the administrative divisions in Taiwan since Taiwan's Ching Dynasty of the research process to identify the impact of political and economic factors in the regional division, in order to probe into the administrative division policy on national development.
