碩士 === 國防大學政治作戰學院 === 政治研究所 === 100 === This thesis will capitalize the idea of military reformation to examine the very influences form military reformation on PLA’s transformation. Gulf War 1991, the U.S. military had won the overwhelming victory based on its own high-tech weapons and superior talented military personnel; therefore, plentiful countries had realized what types of wars would be and started to get involved in the boom of Revolution in Military Affairs (RMA).In the boom of R MA, there is no exception that PLA had been developing its own “Chinese-flavor RMA” or “Sino-featured RMA” by learning the advantages from the west to reduce the mistakes as few as possible owing to the inherent divergences between PLA and the U.S. military. After the Iraq War during 2003, PLA has firmly figured out that the types of war in the future are not merely high technological, but informational as well; consequently, PLA has shifted the instructions to war and directions for the construction of army completely. PLA has developed toward the trend concerning information on the premise that PLA has put emphasis both on theories and practices due to the military reformation. That is to say, the discoveries and purposes of this thesis are not only the changes for the track of PLA’s military thinking, but also tries to examine that if the traditional PLA’s military thinking from PLA’s military reformation would inherit PLA’s inherent paradigm; meanwhile, under the impact from the new era, PLA has to develop some alternatives which can be fit in with the realistic trend and to master the military thinking beneath military reformation.
