This study collected and analyzed over the years of the sex ratio around Taiwan area. From the data collected,1985 was the most significant year of imbalance of Sex ratio at birth because the policies and new medical technology enabled. First step is compared the difference at time of the sex ratio of birth between two regions which are devides into two part: north cetral region and south eastern region by OLS. Then, observe the sex ratio of birth around 1985 to see if there’s any significant turning point. This study proved north central region’s sex ratio at birth go up and down both earlier than south eastern region’s sex ratio at birth because north central region is much more easier to contact to new medical technology and idea than south eastern region. About turning point, the best performance of North Central is three region linear model. There are two turning points :1985 and 1993,and the trend go up first and then down. Relatively, the best performance of South eastern region is two region linear model. The turning point is 1989 ,which is later then north central region and trend go up first but not down until now.
