Description
Summary:碩士 === 東吳大學 === EMBA高階經營碩士在職專班 === 101 === With rapid development of information technology, efficient information management becomes enterprise’s important issue. Therefore, IT outsourcing service will become one of significant IT management strategies in enterprises. The researcher found IT outsourcing services in the bank industry are multiple and complicated, but most IT vendors are based on long-term collaboration. Consequently, the problem found by the researcher is that how these outsourcing IT vendors establish trust relationship with banks, and how these trust relationship can be maintained. As a result, the motivation of this study attempts to find out trust relationship acquired by outsourcing vendors from the banks. The researcher found it from domestic and overseas outsourcing IT research literatures that the existing studies have their limitations and deficiencies, causing not to construct a study model with sufficient theories. This study used Social Capital Theory as the main study structure theory along with Social Network Theory and Trust Theory as supplementary theories to construct the study model. “Participant Observation Method” is also used as the main research tool and “Depth Interview” as supplementary tool. Trust relationship between the bank and five outsourcing IT vendors in the case study is observed through network ties and mutual interaction. There’re three findings in this study: 1. the relevant network ties between outsourcing vendors and the bank in the case study must go through interactive relationship with the bank in the case study to form common recognitions, norms, obligations and expectations before establishing trust relationship with the bank in the case study; 2. the strength of network ties between outsourcing vendors and the bank in the case study will not affect interaction with the bank in the case study; 3. interaction between outsourcing vendors and the bank in the case study will affect the type of trust acquired by outsourcing vendors from the bank in the case study.
