Current situation the notebook market is highly competitive. If follow the case research model. The way can plan the optimized design product specifications and the optimized design cost proposal. The research data refer to worldwide notebook market main product specifications in latest 3 years. First, use「the method of limits」find out the sensory threshold to determine the maximum / minimum test stimulus value and standard stimulus value. Then do 「the method of constant stimuli analysis」. The 13.3"、14"、15.6" three type notebook specification case by each test process then do One-Way ANOVA analysis process to understand Weber constant any associated on three type notebook specification. And depending on the result of our experiment, we can get these results that different notebook C cover palm rest Y axis feature size by the difference threshold (DL) & Weber's constant (K) analysis as below: 1. The 13.3"、14"、15.6" three type notebook C cover palm rest Y axis feature size by the difference threshold (DL) each type average are 3.199、3.179、3.239。 2. The 13.3"、14"、15.6" three type notebook C cover palm rest Y axis feature size by Weber's constant (K) each type average are 0.0376、0.0365、0.0337。 So when designer do new products planning. Base on current notebook ODM business model. Designer can refer to this design research model & provide integrated overall function team proposal then approach best customer need / best design cost need proposal then win business.
