The research is talking about a new observation method of transparency that set up according to the research and it became a fundamental of two follow-up product creations. The observation method, as a filter, looks transparency into two different ways: the physical material side and the sensational message side. The research starts from the analysis of literatures and industrial products in order to distinguish definitions and applications in material transparency. The analyses and their inductions then developed a multi-leveled structure that takes transparency into 3 functions of “basic function”, “style function” and “content function” and corresponding to 9 layers. Besides the mentioned physical viewpoint, transparency could also be interpreted in a sensational way, or a message way. The message type regards transparency as “transparent”, ”transparent/action” and “transparent/action/media” that could read the sensational messages created by the physical material. The research focuses on the reinterpretation and exploration of essential of transparency, and expanded the essential to a contrast, actual and virtual. They are an observation method and a design context, from which resulting two personal creations developed and demonstrated the difference between. The analyses, inductions and creations provide a more complete structure to review the concept of transparency. And it’s not only a sufficient basis for further researches but also a new way to “see” the transparency. Teng, Chienkuo 鄧建國 2012 學位論文 ; thesis 100 zh-TW |
