碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 觀光事業學系 === 100 === According to the World Tourism Organization, youth travel is one of the tourism industry’s fastest growing sectors (WTO, 2008). So that is why, Taiwan’s government emphasizes on the international youth tourism market through the domestic tourism policy. Since the growth of youth travel market is so fundamental, this research takes precedent in exploring the benefits sought out for international youth travelers in Taiwan. Its second purpose is to explore the tourist satisfaction of different youth travel groups. The 308 questionnaires were collected from the international youth travelers of “International Youth Tourism Tour Buddy Service Project,” using purposive sampling. There were three results found: such as enjoyed the travel life, explore traveler knowledge and unrestrained traveler. Young travelers will not affect tourism because the interests they pursued succeeded their satisfaction. This study will provides some suggestions for planning even a better environment for youth travelers to increase the quality of youth traveling.
