After nineties government attached importance to tourism policy.The tourists of domestic and foreign traveled frequently. International tourists increased rapidly. There are 7,311,470 people came to Taiwan in the full year 2012, reaching the highest decades. It effected Taiwan’s economic development very huge. This is the purpose of research about the influence of government tourism policy to globalization on the tourism industry.
Literature focus on the tourism policy and the current situation of the domestic sightseeing,collecting the policy and statistical information relevant to government. I refer the Dissertations, the researching reports of network, scholarly works. Then through a comparative study of "open to visitors from mainland China to Hong Kong to travel in personal "and" open visitors from mainland China to Taiwan to travel "policy for comparison. At last, through the depth interviews with government official, travel agency, mainland China tourists and domestic tourists.Interview records make reference to research and analysis.
In order to enhance the competitiveness of tourism, our country opened mainland China tourists of group tour to visit Taiwan in July, 2008. After opening mainland China tourists of individual travel to visit Taiwan in June, 2011, the number of tourists from foreign country to Taiwan increased very huge. The number of mainland China tourists to visit Taiwan accounted first. Although enhancing the economic output of the tourism industry, prospering society, increasing foreign exchange earnings, increasing the working population,if it lacks of supporting measures, will affect the quality and security of tourism and can’t attract more mainland China tourists.At present our government develops tourism policy in multiple directions, divided into five spindle - "beautiful Taiwan ", "features Taiwan ", "friendly Taiwan "," quality Taiwan "," marketing Taiwan ".They are rich in content, including the package- travel, ecology- travel, barrier-free environmental travel , seamless travel, medical and beauty travel , and to improve domestic tourism environment missing, hoping to attract international tourists except mainland China tourists towards to the direction of globalization of tourism industry forward.
The summary findings, opening mainland China passengers to Hong Kong personally have benefits greatly in the economy. But in the social culture aspect, which is in the difference fusion time, changing the conception of value for pursuing harvest in economy instead already make the Hong Kong international image is damaged. Our government should be supposed to take this as a warning. The government should improve the supporting measure of sightseeing and promot service quality, with the international trail connection,not only to earn the foreign exchange from mainland China passenger, but also from the global passengers.
